Yep, I worked on these seven little guys for two and a half hours -- I didn't even realize it had been that long -- this is just the first layer so I can work on them and figure out what they are as I add more layers of plaster cloth.They kinda sorta look like big chess pieces as they are drying on the wire grid...but I know they are not chess pieces.
Sitting here looking at the photograph I can really see the individual elements -- the little boxes, balls, paper tubes and wooden plaques. Hopefully they will look appreciably different when they are done.
