KT Goodlove #94

"God only knows where they're going, but being lost is most of the fun."

This is block #94 in the Kettle and Took collaboration series KTGoodlove for Art-o-mat®.

Another one I like a lot. Not that I don't like all of them, but some I like more than others.

Day Two Hundred Fifteen

Rabbit man, quite the natty dresser. Is he teensy or are the flowers reeeeeeally tall?

This is another collage for my Art-o-mat® series called "Animal People".

Day One Hundred Fifty

This is really today's piece. The camel man was yesterday's and I missed the deadline.

Okay. I will tell you.

And here is what I will tell you. Two things, actually.

One is that I will most likely keep this collage and not put it into the set of 50 for Art-o-mat
®.

Two is that I am very afraid of rabbits in real life. But I walk this thin line of being creeped out/scared and finding some rabbitty images cool.

This rabbit man is walking that thin line for me...that is why I will probably keep it. Another reason is that I really like the simplicity of it...I like how the background paper is a big part of the picture. I like the way the flowery vines make the picture look sort of dimensional. I also like the eyeglasses in the rabbit man's hands. Rabbits should wear spectacles. (Reminds me of the story of "The Hare Who Lost His Spectacles" on my favorite Jethro Tull album, "A Passion Play".)

ANYway...this is another collage for my Art-o-mat® series called "Animal People".

150 days down, 215 to go!

Update: Oh my...look -- there is a little claymation film for the aforementioned story!

Day One Hundred Twelve

Mermaid Net. Yep, someone actually named a paint color Mermaid Net.

When I get paint chips to choose colors, I have to turn them upside down and tape them to the wall and look at them from a little ways a way so that I can't choose the color by name.

That is how I ended up with a bathroom that is painted Japanese Fern. If I had seen the name, I never would have chosen the color.

The last time I fell for the name thing was when I had the red brick fireplace painted a shade of white. I chose Snow Leopard. Couldn't help it.

ANYway...

This is another collage for my Art-o-mat® series called "Animal People".

Heh...it happened again...that synchronicity thing. Just now. Perhaps in the rabbit man's world he is on a tv show called "Mermaid Net" and he is some sort of bizzaro beach-y Joe Friday.

I didn't actually want to be a cop.
