Day One Hundred Seventy-Nine

It started out as a dark and rainy morning this morning...the kind of day I LOVE because it makes me want to make art. That is what it was like when I was making this girl. I even got inspired to try taking the yarn all the way up the ear as far as I could go.

This afternoon it turned sunny and this puppet wanted to go outside for her photograph. It was too breezy for all of the tall spiky flower shots, they kept swaying and getting blurry. Puppety decided to play "look how tall I am" instead. (as in she is looking down at me)

This is another finger puppet for my Art-o-mat® series "All Ears".

ahhhhhhhhh...

I made an Animal People collage, and I am having a total "Ahhhhhh!" moment.

I was so absorbed with making the rest of the KT Goodlove blocks these past few days that I used some dark and rainy morning time to make a collage for me...just for the sake of making one. Feels real good.

I don't know if this will eventually end up in the batch of Animal People I am working on for Artists in Cellophane, but I just wanted/needed to post this.
