near you!
Request KT Goodlove, even!(That'd be waaaaay cool!)
UPDATE: KT Goodlove has been added to the artists page at the Art-o-mat® website. Click on our name and see an example of the series.

I don't write the rules I just follow them.
The background color of this block is pretty cool. In some light, it is very yellow...in some light it is a bit green/chartreuse. I like it. A lot.
This is another one of those "I don't know who is making the statement" collages. Really, it could be the rabbit or the cat girl. I like that, too. A lot.
This is block #53 in the Kettle + Took collaboration series "KT Goodlove" for Art-o-mat®.

Today begins the second set of 50 blocks of the collaboration series for Art-o-mat® entitled "KT Goodlove".
In case you've forgotten (or you are new to my blog), Kettle paints on the MDF blocks and then sends them to me for me to fit my collages around his paintings.
I like how the cat girl is just going on with her lipstick demo and is ignoring the ghostly rabbit (even though he clearly has substance because his ear is in front of that large tube.)

I don't know what I'm saying and neither do you.
Ha ha...need more proof?
This is another collage for my Art-o-mat® series called "Animal People".

There is something very telltale in these last sentences.
Hmmm...wonder what it could be?

Here is a bit of dressage imagery for today...minus the cat girl's hat...perhaps that is why they placed second.
I can never get hats to work with animal ears.

Cat, cat girl, cocoa, chocolate, cups...what else could "C" stand for in this collage?

Okay...confession time. I'm not sure why, but I am totally wiped out today. I have been fighting falling asleep all day long. I kept thinking I was going to be able to make something today, but I am just plain too sleepy.
This is a block I made a couple of years ago...but at least I'm not trying to pass it off as one I made today. It was a collage that I made for my Art-o-mat® series called "Animal People".
I would rather post this today than miss another deadline.
I like those flowers. Puts me in mind of British Invasion music...Dusty Springfield, Manfred Mann, Sandie Shaw, Kinks, Gerry & the Pacemakers...I love that stuff!

Edit: I just noticed this when I posted the block..."accents" fits, too! Ha...I amuse myself. Totally unintentional.
I have never really tried to construct an entire room in one of these Animal People collages...it was amusing to do. All of the elements came from the same magazine, but from different pages.

Dear oh deary me. I truly don't understand why my scanner has trouble "reading" some of the colors on these little colored pencil drawings.
I will photograph this tomorrow and see if that will show that the background of this one is yellow and the glow is pink. The crown is orange and the jewels are magenta, outlined in very dark purple. It is also a little hard to see the tabby-ish markings on the cat.
Ah well.
This tiny portrait is for my series "Penciled In" for Art-o-mat®.
Update: See? The background is yellow.
