I haven't made very many robots
This robot head is one of the four ceramic heads that I made a long, long time ago and that I recently rediscovered in my display case...tucked way in the back corner. I don't know how well I can put together a plaster cloth robot with throw-away items...but we'll see.
I'd like to keep as much of the underglazed face and color on his head as I can. I am going to need to get some pointers on robots I think. He is already almost turning into a creature...I need to keep him more mechanical and parts-y looking.

KT Goodlove # 124

This is block #124 in the Kettle and Took collaboration series KTGoodlove for Art-o-mat®.
Every once in a while I find that I reeeeeeally want to keep some of these collages. This (and also #120) are ones I am buying for me.

Still working...

Yep...I am still plugging away today. I worked on two other pieces as well, but they still need edges and I can't quite "see" them yet. So for now, here are two more of the collaboration pieces that Kettle and I are making for the Art-o-mat® Minneapolis Regional Swap Meet.

(That's my scanner again, changing the colors of Kettle's paints! The area behind the cat girl is actually a kinda salmony color and the green is closer to the "before" picture...sheesh.)

Day One Hundred Five

Several years ago, she accompanied her father on a trip to Europe.
Is the robot the cat girl's father? Is he just wishing her a bon voyage? Is he another passenger making a new friend? Does he want a sip of her coffee? So many unanswered questions.
It is doubtful I will get home in time to make a separate Arto-piece today, but here is block #48 (out of 50) in the Kettle + Took collaboration series "KT Goodlove" for Art-o-mat®.

[loud gasp from the crowd]
"Eeeek!"
"Look! It's the Giant Robot -- and he's got the Giant Duck Baby riding on his shoulders!"
"They are playing that look ma, no hands game!"
