365/2013 - Day 194

ahhhhhhhhhhh!

Ta-daaaaaaaa -- 100 Tookies finger puppets for Art-o-mat are completely finished!

Next up:  the packaging...info inserts, cleaning up the small MDF blocks that I am using for weight in the boxes, taking the new photos for labels and placards, making labels, making placards, taking the photo for AIC to hopefully get included in the art section on the Art-o-mat website for other hosts to see so they can order them.  Oh...then I need to pack them into the boxes and wrap the boxes with cellophane...and ship them to Artists in Cellophane (Art-o-mat HQ).

So I am very very pleased to be done with the sewing of the finger puppets part...but I am still a ways off from being ready to ship the finished artpacks.

getting started tonight -- Tookies 91-100 (of 100) are still in the sewing box, waiting...waiting...
tonight's first order of business -- the side seams
then the colorful soft edges
ONE HUNDRED Tookies pile on!

Cool -- I'm in an Arto-related article!

Take a look at this...my Animal People were in the initial start up of an Art-o-mat® machine that was recently installed at Canteen Vending Company's North American Headquarters in Charlotte, NC. to mark the company's 80th year in business. Pretty neat!

And check out the photo album, too! (You might have to be on Facebook to view it, though.)

(That's the only reason I joined Facebook again...to be able to view photos that I get links to.)

Did I ever tell you about...

You know this Art-o-mat® I am constantly yakking about? Did you know they have an online store? You can get Arto-tees, patches, tote bags, or a carton of artpacks.

They have a few limited edition items, too. One of them is a book called "Unpacked". I participated in this really cool project. If you look at the book and click on it, it will enlarge and you can flip through the pages. I am page fifteen.

Here is the description of "Unpacked" from the store:
Inside this hand-bound book, you will find 18 different, original works of art created by members of Artists in Cellophane (AIC), the organization that produces the Art-o-mat project. Only 200 books have been produced and are available for sale. This is a unique opportunity to own larger works from some of the most active participants in the Art-o-mat project.

Subliminal Message: Come on...you know you really need a copy of "Unpacked".
