full day, just one pic

Early this afternoon Peggy and I went to the Ferndale Public Library to pick up our art from the "Power of Myth" show that just closed.  Later, I went to the NAH to take up my post as guest counter at the door for Girls' Night Out.  Oh -- and I am absolutely thrilled to say that two more pieces of art in the "[small] Works Exhibit" were sold!  It was a very good day.

Today Djubi (gray guy on the right) joined the small (but growing) number of completed plaster cloth guys who are retired (or nearly retired) from being entered into local shows.

For the rest of the night, it is laundry and take care of my knees/feet/back time.

365/2013 - Day 254

two upcoming exhibits

Today I got word that I got into the other upcoming show I submitted art to!

So -- "Couldn't Catch It" will be at the "21st Annual Canton Fine Arts Exhibition" at the Village Theater at Cherry Hill in Canton, MI.  The juror is Gilda Snowden.  The show will run during October.  (This is the piece I blogged about yesterday that is out being framed right now.)

And "Djubi" will be at the "Power of Myth" at the Ferndale Public Library in Ferndale, MI.  The show will run September 30 through November 10.

I am very excited to have had these two pieces accepted for these really great upcoming shows!
