KT Goodlove 179

She called it a room so it must be a room.

Again (like with #177) my scanner does not pick up the extreme beyond-Barbie pinkness or its metallic effect in this collage. The paint nearly matches the darker flowers of the cat girl's dress.

This is also another block that Kettle added a piece of a children's book illustration to instead of a painted character. I like how the bird and the cat girl seem to be looking at the same thing.

KT Goodlove is the collaborative collage series that Kettle and I make for Art-o-mat. Kettle paints on the block and then I add my paper bits. This is #179.

KT Goodlove # 146

"wait -- what???"

Tennis balls, a bird, a cat jumping at the bird and balls, and she's on the phone. So distracting.

KT Goodlove # 135

"Night Bird." "Bat."

When I originally scanned this block, I was thinking I would put someone underneath it looking up at the bird. Today I liked it sideways better. And I really reeeeally like that the cat girl is looking right at the bird.

Day Two Hundred Sixty-Five

"there's no kind of atmosphere"

This is the second of six blocks that feature phrases from the "Red Dwarf" theme song.

It is also block #65 in the Kettle + Took collaboration series "KT Goodlove" for Art-o-mat®.

Day Two Hundred Twenty-Six (KTG #58)

Wow -- I really like this one a whole lot. It took a long time to match a head and body that would fit on that lower edge, but it was worth it!

The conversation tidbit comes from Zooey Deschanel on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.

This is also another block with the background color that confuses my scanner and camera. The scanner records the images most accurately, and the camera tries to show the correct color in the smaller out-of-focus pic.
