365 Day 190

Opening Night -- Ages of Art: An Intergenerational Show

This was the opening night for the wonderful group show entitled "Ages of Art: An Intergenerational Show" at Art & Ideas Gallery.

I took a lot of photos, too many to post them all in this blog entry, so here is the photo album from my Facebook page...link.

I am very pleased to be a participant in this wonderful show. It is not often you get so see such a range of art from artists of such a range of ages in one show. Pretty much every artist in the show gave a brief talk about their piece, and Shaqe Kalaj (our teacher and artist in residence at the gallery) spoke for those who weren't in attendance.

Do check out my photo album at Facebook to see all of the art and some of the attendees.

The show runs through August 7, 2011 at:

Love your work! Is this a print or an original painting?

All of the works in this post are originals -- all by different artists. Mine is the linoleum cut relief print of the bear with white arms.
