I don't often use any of the bajillion sketchbooks that I have stashed around my house, but today I watch Werner Herzog's "Cave of Forgotten Dreams" and the cave paintings made me want to try to sketch/doodle.
Real or imagined...I know it is goofy, but I get really pulled in to Werner Herzog docs. His voice, the imagery...by the time the film was over I was feeling oddly draw-y yet also I-need-to-hang-those-shelves-ish...needless to say, I did not get much done today -- ha ha ha -- but I did enjoy myself and I did draw a little bit. And I did get a few ideas for possible future guys. (Good thing I didn't see this movie in 3-D...lol)
