I can see the finish line and I'm almost there on my creature for the Holly Dolly fundraiser.
Today and tonight I am working on the head and face and sewing on the arms. I will be at this until I go to bed but it is nearly done!
All of the pins are out now (thank you!) and I sewed down all of the edges.
These are the darts and folds that Suzanne helped me with last night -- wow, was it only just last night???
On one side I could sew the whole seam down, all layered together. The other side needed to be stitched separately.
Something was a little off...oh shoot -- it needs one more solid colored spike for the top of its head. I made the aqua one and I feel much better now.
I have had these buttons for a few years, just waiting for the right project. I added yellow and orange embroidery floss chain(?) stitching around the buttons.
Okay -- a short break for my hands and then I am back at it! I can't wait to see how this guy turns out!
