The bowling pin cat-creature's patched plaster cloth areas were dry today, so I got going on the first layer of paper. I do this just to get a slightly smoother surface to work on later.
I also found some soft pastels in my studio that I didn't realize I had...I was thinking they might put more color on the collage with the goat guy than the artistic blending chalks...they seem a bit softer.
