Day Two Hundred Seventy-Three

I have been working on computery things trying to make adjustments to "Penciled In" pictures for the next round of that series.

In the meantime, here is how the "KT Goodlove" and "Animal People" blocks are stacking up.

Day Two Hundred Seventy-One

Dear Viewer, there were just too many possibilities for this one, so I am leaving the [story, narration, caption] up to you.

this pink is more like Barbie pink...not the color that my scanner chooses to show.

Day Two Hundred Seventy

"...and grumpy, he's super grumpy"

That quote comes from a comment on a friend's photo on Facebook. I liked the phrase so much that I asked the person who made the comment if I could use it in a collage.

Grumpy has
always been an amusing word to me.

Day Two Hundred Sixty-Nine

"in the sun sun sun"

Block number 6 of 6 in the "Red Dwarf" lyric set. It is also block #69 in the Kettle + Took collaboration series "KT Goodlove" for Art-o-mat®.

As I mentioned earlier on, the collages have nothing to do with "Red Dwarf" except for the phrase from the lyrics...and the blocks have no relation to each other. Look back in the older posts to see the rest of the set.

(once again, it is another one of those "my scanner can't seem to show the actual color" days...this is a pumpkiny orange background.)

it's cold outside

there's no kind of atmosphere
I'm all alone more or less
let me fly far away from here
fun fun fun
in the sun sun sun

Day Two Hundred Sixty-Seven

"let me fly far away from here"

Block number 4 of 6 in the "Red Dwarf" lyric set.
It is also block #67 in the Kettle + Took collaboration series "KT Goodlove" for Art-o-mat®.

Oh man, I didn't think I was going to make it home before midnight for this one!

Day Two Hundred Sixty-Six

"I'm all alone more or less"

Block number 3 of 6 in the "Red Dwarf" lyric set.
It is also block #66 in the Kettle + Took collaboration series "KT Goodlove" for Art-o-mat®.

Once again my scanner is not reading the colors accurately. That is a very pumpkiny orange.

Day Two Hundred Sixty-Five

"there's no kind of atmosphere"

This is the second of six blocks that feature phrases from the "Red Dwarf" theme song.

It is also block #65 in the Kettle + Took collaboration series "KT Goodlove" for Art-o-mat®.

Day Two Hundred Sixty-Four

"it's cold outside"

This is the first of the six "Red Dwarf" lyrics blocks.

it was a dark and rainy morning (yay!)

It was a dark and rainy morning.

If you know me, you know that means I was making stuff.

A while back I rented the "Red Dwarf" series from Netflix. I liked it okay, but I loved the theme song. I found a listenable version of the song on iTunes and it's in my head most every day.

SO, this being an aforementioned dark and rainy morning, I had an idea. I made a set of six KT Goodlove blocks that feature the words to the first part of the song. The blocks have no relation to each other besides the lyrics, and I think they stand alone pretty well. No matter, I like 'em! I will post them separately.

Day Two Hundred Sixty-Three

"I've got my own ways, sir"

I borrowed that line from the tv show "The Mighty Boosh". I like how it could be either the dog man or the rabbit talking.

Sometimes simple is best.

I am not going to fight with my scanner anymore. This block
is not showing up with the correct shade of pink. The actual
pink is pinker, not purpley.

Day Two Hundred Sixty-Two

"it's your secret do what you want with it"

I suppose that sort of fits this situation, doesn't it?
No excuses, no explanations, no regrets...just pick up where I left off. I will fill in missing days when I make "catch up" pieces.

This is block #62 in the Kettle + Took collaboration series "KT Goodlove" for Art-o-mat®.

hmmm...how to begin again?

The last post I made was for Day 230. It is now Day 262. I can't decide how to pick this back up. It makes sense to restart with the actual day of the year that it is, and then -- when I do "catch up" pieces -- I could label them starting with Day 231.

I think that seems like the best idea...for now at least.

wooo -- shakin' it all off!

Okay! I am done with the crapola that was sidetracking me...done with being disappointed with myself...today I am working on Art-o-stuff!

heavy sigh

I disappoint myself.

I am still working on climbing back on the horse of getting back to keeping my blog current.

It is a very tall horse.

I will do it, though!
