365/2013 - Day 111

well -- that sucks on a couple of different levels

My point-and-shoot camera is dead.  This sucks for several reasons.

1. I can't document anything for the blog
2. I have to buy a new camera  (these things are just not worth the $ to repair them)
3. I will have to get used to a new camera
4. I am going to have to borrow against my tax refund to replace it tomorrow

I really should be more careful with the point-and-shoot.  I was taking pictures of the canvases I have to work on and I thought I set the camera on the table but apparently I just missed the edge of the table and the camera hit the floor.  This camera has been dropped several times and I guess it has just had enough.

Oh well.  I will be more careful with the next one.  I will try to remember it IS a camera, not a toy. 

Scan of the dead camera -- it says "lens error.  restart camera." Uh, yeh...I tried.

The last photo taken by this camera -- you can see the left side and foreground are messed up -- then it just froze in the open position and started doing the error message.
