It is happening again...
The upper gallery walls at the Northville Art House start out bare and stark and end up with such life and color and exuberance.
Today Lin Schorr finished hanging the incredible "Beyond Borders: A Mosaic Exhibition and Auction". Later the painter's tape sight line will come off and all that will be left is the mind boggling show.
This is an auction to benefit Doctors Without Borders, an international medical humanitarian organization.
Even the logo was made into a mosaic.
I've said this previously in the blog and I will say it again. My measly point-and-shoot camera cannot do justice to these breathtaking 6"x6" mosaics. The color and light and life in each one of them is just astounding. This is a show you truly have to see in person!
Opening reception for Beyond Borders: A Mosaic Exhibition and Auction is a part of the September First Friday festivities in Downtown Northville, MI. There are so many things to do and see!
